    An eco-minded chain with natural and organic grocery items, housewares and other products (most sell wine).

  • Highland Park Village

    Considered to be the first self-contained shopping center in the country when it opened in 1931, Highland Park Village is a mecca of upscale retail (think: Hermès, Dior, Chanel). Dallas’s most stylish residents can be spotted sipping margaritas at Mi Cocina and attending premiere parties at the Village Theatre.

  • Dallas Country Club

    home to one of the best golf courses in the country and one of the most exclusive social circles in Dallas.

  • Southern Methodist University

    Has a true sprawling campus feel in the middle of a bustling city which is hard to find. It also has under ten thousand undergraduates and is ranked in the top 100 universities in the country (business school is in the top 50).

  • The George W Bush Presidential Library

    As the 13th presidential library, the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum promotes an understanding of the American presidency, examines the specific time in history during which President Bush served, and provides access to official records and artifacts from the George W. Bush Administration which include a 9/11 display.

  • The Katy Trail

    Privately funded and supported by the community, the historic Katy Trail is built on an old railroad line and has quickly become an iconic destination for the people of Dallas as a hike and bike trail that has access to all the Uptown shops and amenities.

  • Turtle Creek

    A stroll and picnic along Turtle Creek in Lakeside Park, set among jaw-dropping homes, is a lovely option for whiling away an afternoon.

  • The Holmes Aquatic Center

    This is where University Park residents spend their summers. Only folks who live within Highland Park ISD boundaries can gain access to this, one of the area’s greatest swimming holes.
