The Apex Centre
This city-run, 80,000-square-foot aquatics and fitness facility includes an indoor competition pool, indoor and outdoor leisure waters, a supervised playroom, classrooms and party rooms. The Apex Centre features a fitness facility with Precor, LifeFitness and Hammer Strength equipment,a gymnasium, basketball courts and an elevated track. The city and McKinney Community Development Corporation (MCDC) teamed up to build the $36 million aquatics and fitness center in Gabe Nesbitt Community Park. The facility offers annual, monthly and daily memberships for youth, adults, seniors and families, as well as resident and non-resident rates.
