Austin Neighborhood Guides
Anderson Mill Neighborhood Guide
Anderson Mill is a neighborhood of about 15,000 households nestled just south of the intersection between Hwy. 183 and Hwy. 45. There are several parks in or near the neighborhood, as well as golf courses, coffee shops, and restaurants.
Avery Ranch
Avery Ranch is a planned community in far northwest Austin, one of the fastest-growing areas of town (and the U.S.). With 1,800 acres and 4,000 homes, Avery Ranch is one of the larger neighborhoods, and has a range of houses and amenities to match. Many of the homes have views of the surrounding countryside.
Great Hills
Since the mid-seventies, Great Hills has developed into a sizable swath of gated communities and luxury apartments nestled into hillsides. A plethora of cul-de-sacs and dead-end roads fan off from the long main streets, which means many homes back up to forests and creeks.
Round Rock
Round Rock is one of the most well known Austin suburbs and has won several awards throughout the years including 4th Safest City in the US.
