About the Neighborhood
University of Texas and Austin Community College students and recent graduates have long claimed this corner of the city as their turf, but Oracle’s expanding office space off Lakeshore Boulevard is drawing more young professionals. Thirty-, 40- and 50-somethings can be found well-settled in other pockets of the neighborhood.

The Lifestyle
On the weekend, residents can be found walking on the new boardwalk that snakes along the banks of Lady Bird Lake, and the millennials who have inhabited East Riverside rentals are frequently posting pictures of the downtown skyline to Instagram—it’s one of the best views in the city.
